I'm Adam Crooks. I started AC Land Development in 2025 from home at RD 1 Winton, and I keep Southland farms tidy - dairy lanes, potholes, stumps and the jobs in between.
AC Land Development is me, Adam Crooks. I set the company up in 2025, working from home at RD 1 Winton, right in the middle of the country I work in. One man and one machine, doing the jobs that keep Southland farms running right - dairy lanes, farm tracks, potholes, stumps and the general earthworks in between.
The machine is a Kubota tracked skid-steer running a power rake and a set of attachments. It is the right setup for farm surface work: heavy enough to cut, shape and compact properly, and light enough on its tracks to get at the job without wrecking the ground around it. The power rake is the tool most driveways and lanes around here have never met - it screens the big stones out of the surface and leaves the kind of finish a bucket alone never will.
Why one man? Because on a farm, who turns up matters. When you call me, you get me. The same person who quotes the job does the job, makes the calls on the ground, and answers for the result. No crew you have never met, no one learning on your driveway, and no office sitting between you and the person on the machine.

It is written across the bottom of the badge, and on my scale it is not about being the biggest outfit in Southland. It is about treating every job like it matters, because on your place it does. A driveway is never just a driveway to the person who drives it every day, and a lane is never just a lane to the person walking cows up it at five in the morning.
